After all those jokes about how the Wombles should have been the Olympics mascots, or cleaned up after the closing ceremony, it's taken a Paralympics competitor to put some Womble content into London's sporting summer.
Top New Zealand equestrian Rachel Stock and her horse Ricki used some Womble-tastic music - with permission from Mike Batt - for the grade 3 freestyle to music section of the competition. Perhaps it's no surprise, though - the coach has the highly Womble-significant name of Hayley Beresford...
